YouTube is one of the best online video sites with tons of free videos about everything under the sun. Users can upload videos of 15 minutes duration. YouTube supports a variety of file formats. Users can upload files like HD video, they can edit videos in free tools like Windows movie maker and can encode videos in a supported format like WMV and can upload to YouTube video. Visit the upload page at www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload, Click Increase your limit at the bottom of the page, as shown in the below screenshot. Finally, follow the steps to verify your account with a mobile phone. Once you’ve increased your limit, make sure you’re using an up-to-date version of your browser so you can upload files greater than 2GB.

How To Upload audio or image files
YouTube supports a wide variety of the range of video and audio formats in use. Some supporting formats are WebM files – Vp8 video codec and Vorbis Audio codecs, .MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files – Typically supporting h264, mpeg4 video codecs, and AAC audio codec, .AVI – Many cameras output this format – typically the video codec is MJPEG and audio is PCM,.MPEGPS – Typically supporting MPEG2 video codec and MP2 audio, .WMV, .FLV – Adobe-FLV1 video codec, MP3 audio. But YouTube doesn’t support audio files (.MP3, .WAV, etc.) and image files (.JPG, .PNG, etc.). Then how to upload images and audio files? Simple you’ll need to combine audio and image files into a format that will work on YouTube. To convert photos into a slideshow, Visit the upload page on YouTube, Click Create a slideshow video as shown in the screenshot.
Upload photos from your computer, or select photos from an existing online photo album like Google+, click Select. Then drag and drop the photos to rearrange them. After arranging the click Next. Select an audio track from the library under “Audio”, or select No audio to have your slideshow play without music. (You won’t be able to upload audio files from your computer), when you are finished click Upload. Another way is, use a program like Windows Live Movie Maker or iMovie to add audio to your images before uploading the file to YouTube.
